The Team

NWTWS is run by a committee that is very active and meets frequently. Founded by John Wilson, NWTWS was a collective effort. The recent passing of John Wilson in 2021 although has left a lacuna that cannot be filled. Yet through the vision of John Wilson and others that have worked for the cause of NWTWS, the organization has been built strong with many active members assisting in the everyday operations and overall vision of NWTWS.

Here we recognize and celebrate the people who have dedicated their lives for the betterment of Tribals and Indigenous communities of Nilgiri Wynaad.

Tribal Advisory Committee

The society is principally advised by a tribal advisory team which comprises of members from all the tribes and they communicate what the society needs and this is taken up by the Executive committee, which then gives shape to their needs.

The executive committee consists of members of the society and are elected from time to time.

Mr John Dalton, a friend of John Wilson's, the late founder, and a long standing member and one time secretary of the society, is the advisor and a standing invitee of all the core groups.
